Refund Policy
As previously detailed, our Refund Policy is as follows:
- Pre-Design Selection: Full refunds are available provided no specific website design has been selected and work has not commenced.
- Post-Design Selection: Once a design is chosen, refunds are not available. This accounts for resources allocated towards the project.
- Project Discontinuation by Client: Should a project be discontinued by the client, they are responsible for 50% of the total project cost or the cost of work completed to date, whichever is higher.
Refund Eligibility and Scenarios:
- Initial Payment and Design Selection:
- Clients may be eligible for a full refund if no specific website design has been selected and no substantial work has commenced on the project.
- Once a design is chosen or substantial work has begun, the initial payment becomes non-refundable to cover the resources allocated to the project.
- Project Discontinuation by Client:
- If a client decides to discontinue the project after work has commenced but before completion:
- The client is obligated to pay 50% of the total project cost or the cost of the work completed to date, whichever is higher. This is to compensate for the resources and time invested in the project up to the point of discontinuation.
- This policy ensures that both parties are treated fairly, recognizing the value of the work completed and the resources dedicated by Marketome.
- Delayed Projects or Scope Changes:
- If there are delays in the project timeline due to client inaction or scope changes requested by the client:
- Marketome reserves the right to adjust project costs accordingly. Any increase in costs will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.
- This ensures transparency and fairness in accommodating changes that affect project delivery and resource allocation.
